Art Gallery Painter Info
Siyavash Chegini (b. 1960) is an artist from Arak, Iran, who resides in the Alna district of Oslo.
He draws inspiration from nature, architecture, and experiences that leave a strong impression on him.
As a child, he spent a great deal of time in his grandfather's carpet workshop, where he learned about the art of carpet making and watercolor painting.
This painting above appears to be a whimsical, folk-art–influenced mixed-media or watercolor illustration with a highly decorative border. The central scene shows a rider on horseback surrounded by animals and flowering branches, while the outer area is filled with abstract organic motifs, leaves, birds, and small creature forms in pastel and earthy tones.
Every exhibition is an act of care
This appears to be a watercolor painting of a quiet street scene, likely inspired by a traditional Japanese neighborhood.
